Tottenham’s James Maddison has picked up a nasty injury in pre-season. Meanwhile, the usual suspects are a stel closer to MTN8 glory in South Africa.
Maddison injured for Spurs
Tottenham Hotspur midfielder James Maddison picked up what looked like a bad injury in his club’s pre-season friendly clash with Newcastle in Seoul, South Korea. Ironically, this was also Son Heung-Min’s final action for the club after a decade with the Londoners. 33-year-old South Korean scored 173 goals in 454 appearances for Tottenham. New manager Thomas Frank:
“I think sometimes in life and football things can be both beautiful and brutal – that’s what we got today. It looks like with Madders a bad injury, and then on the other side unbelievable scenes for Son from his teammates and the respect from the Newcastle players.”
