UCT was once the pride of Africa. Right now, it’s fighting itself in court, twice.
In this video I break down three connected UCT stories: the Mendelsohn case and how nearly 300 students lost their bursaries after Council got political with resolutions nobody consulted them on. The Vice-Chancellor scandal,34 complaints against him, only ONE held up, the rest allegedly fabricated, some complainants not even real. And the postponed emergency meeting that Council members say is being used to dodge accountability entirely.
This isn’t speculation. It’s what’s in the court papers and council letters. Watch till the end.
