In a bold and uncensored interview, THEE Sama Sambit sits down with South African billionaire and outspoken truth-teller Rob Hersov for a raw conversation that the mainstream media wouldn’t dare touch. Titled “They Tried to Silence Us,” this Truth Report exclusive digs into Hersov’s journey from corporate boardrooms to becoming one of the loudest voices calling out political rot in South Africa. From exposing corruption to calling out hypocrisy in the establishment, Hersov reveals why he turned his back on the sanitized narratives of mainstream media, and chose to speak directly to the people instead.
The discussion dives deep into Hersov’s now famous “Voetsek ANC” chant, which became a national flashpoint for frustration and rebellion. He unpacks what pushed him to say what millions were already thinking but too afraid to shout, and why silence, in times of state decay, is complicity. Together, he and Sama break down how fear, censorship, and controlled media have strangled public discourse, and why South Africans must reclaim their right to speak truth without apology.
This interview isn’t polished or politically correct, it’s personal, fiery, and fearless. It’s two generations, two worlds, and one shared mission: to wake South Africa up. If you’re tired of filtered soundbites and media gatekeeping, this conversation will remind you that truth, no matter how uncomfortable, always finds a microphone.
