South Africa’s political landscape could be heading for a major realignment.
FF Plus Tshwane mayoral candidate Willie Spies joins Renaldo Gouws for a wide-ranging discussion on the ANC’s decline, the DA’s political direction, coalition government and the growing fight for conservative voters ahead of the municipal elections.
Spies argues that South Africans no longer have to choose between ANC dominance and DA dominance, saying a genuine multi-party democracy gives voters the opportunity to support parties that more closely reflect their values. He also explains why he believes the FF Plus can become a significantly stronger force as traditional voting patterns begin to change.
